Music in Common Time: Yale Camerata, Yale Glee Club, Yale Symphony Orchestra

Performance  of the world premiere of a new work by Julia Wolfe (conducted by Marguerite L. Brooks), Caroline Shaw’s “Music in Common Time” and Brahms’ “Nänie” (conducted by Jeffrey Douma), as well as André J. Thomas’ Mass: A Celebration of Love and Joy (conducted by the composer).
 

All patrons must be asymptomatic with an up to date vaccination status. Proof of vaccination status and ID will be checked at the door. 

Yale-approved masks are required for all performers and audience members. Individuals who cannot attend concerts in person are always invited to watch livestream of the concert on the YGC web page (https://gleeclub.yalecollege.yale.edu/yale-glee-club-livestream)

The concert is open to members of the Yale community and public who are asymptomatic and up-to-date on COVID vaccinations—meaning they have received all recommended COVID-19 vaccines for their age range, including any booster dose(s) when eligible. [Unvaccinated children and individuals with any type of exemption are not permitted to attend Yale events at this time.] 

Online reservations close two hours before each concert.  Reservations will not be accepted via phone or email. 

Attendees will be required to - 

  • show their vaccination card and photo ID at the door.

  • wear an ASTM or N95-equivalent mask at all times inside the building.

  • leave at least one empty seat between their party and others.
